I met Jordon on my first and only visit to Costa Rica. I got very excited to hear about what he was doing for young people and the community through poetry; spoken word. I felt devastated to learn of his passing. I was looking through my emails today and was reminded of him. May he Rest in Paradise and may his good works go on forever. I will always remember Jordon as a wonderful Fletcher's student. In high school, his talents, creativity, leadership and vision shone. He was a wonderful student! He was a regular MC for school events! Such talent and exceptional communication skills! I was also honoured to work with his dear mother, Nicolle, on many projects - what a privilege! I was Jordan’s film teacher. I know that you’re not suppose to have favourites but Jordon was definitely one of them. He challenged me to be a better teacher and I really appreciated that. He wanted to learn, very keen and eager to make the best videos he could. I’m so pleased to see all the amazing work he has done around equity with his videos, he was an impressive man that shone brightly. Rest In Peace dear friend!
