As a child, I loved being around Auntie Monica. I have many memories of her exuding warmth, and extending kind gestures that made others feel welcome. Her generosity (and excellent culinary skills) will be a forever memory for me.
My condolences to the Navarro family. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO THE NAVARRO FAMILY
M oments like Monica’s death are times to ponder the New Life united to the Holy Spirit of God that mankind receives at the hour of their Baptism.
N ow, as the Campbell Family, Ewart and Yvonne, join in grief with the Navarro Family. Because we know Monica was a strong believer in God through Jesus Christ Risen! We believe that she will receive God’s promise of Eternal Life with Him in Heaven!
A t times we may be led to believe that there is no God because of our unfortunate experiences. But, being strong in ‘Faith’ we hold on to God and don’t let go. I will continue to keep Monica in my daily Intercessory Prayer.
V ictory of the ‘LIGHT OF GOD’ given to us at the moment of our Baptism bears fruits of ‘ETERNAL LIFE’ with God our ‘DIVINE CREATOR’
A ttention Brothers & Sisters Monica’s time on planet earth has expired. But, past memories of our social friendship and special times of ‘Dance Celebrations” made our life very enjoyable never to forget.
R ising and sharing in the ‘Spiritual Victory of Jesus Christ! must be a ‘Divine Experience’ all believers await.
R iches in the ‘Spiritual Ream’ will be your victory as we continue to keep you in prayer and also your loved ones.
O How Happy are those who put their trust in God! Amen!!!
SOMEWHERE, SOMEHOW, SOMEDAY WE WILL PRAY AGAIN!
SOMEWHERE, SOMEHOW, SOMEDAY WE WILL SING AGAIN!
SOMEWHERE, SOMEHOW, SOMEDAY WE WILL MEET AGAIN!

Monica, my dearest friend, was a beacon of hope and light to many. It hurts me immensely as I am unable to attend her home-going service physically.
From our high school days where we met, to her final days, she was known to be most caring and was actively involved in her church and community. She was a faithful wife to Rowland, proud mother to Ayana, mother-in-law to Matt and beloved grand-mother to Lewis.
Every month she shared photos of Lewis, circling his age on a calendar as he grew older. What a joy it was to see! I will certainly miss our lengthy phone calls which sometimes lasted for little over two (2) hours, as we discussed life and the many day to day happenings in the world.
Life is a question which nobody can answer and death is an answer which nobody can question. Enjoy the question until you get the answer.
On behalf of everyone in my family, I extend our deepest condolences to her dear husband Rowland, her loving daughter Ayana, loved son-in-law, Matt, dearest grandson Lewis, brother Auldwin, sister Allison and all relatives and friends.
Gone but will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace and rise in eternal glory.
Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything.

My condolences to Rowland, Ayana, Matt, and Lewis. Sis Monica Navarro was a friend, and a sister in faith. I would always say she is the sister my mother did not give birth to. Sis Monica was a loving person. She was a giving type of person, not just of herself but also with anything she had. She would call and say, "Sis Claire get dressed we're going to the store." Most nights we would call each other, sometimes we talked about the news or the basketball game. She would ask me how the boys were doing, who is winning. She would say, "I called to see if you were in tears the boys lost the game." We would have a good laugh. Every now and again if someone was looking for Sis Monica and could not find her I may get a call with a question like, "Where is your friend or partner in crime?" We spent a lot of time together. You will be missed Sis Monica but I will always remember our laughter and our trips. I will never forget you. Rest in peace.

My friend Monica. Our friendship started in High School in Trinidad and Tobago and continued through the years with phone calls or visits. Back home, we had our group Friday night “lime” and if we felt, we would continue on Saturday night. During carnival, the group played mas together for a few years. Our fun times came to an end when we migrated, Monica went to Canada and I to the United States. She even asked me to be godmother to Ayana, her and Rowland’s pride and joy. I only had to ask how is Ayana and she would tell me at length about Ayana’s education, her adventures, travels and her latest achievement, baby Lewis. I will miss those conversations and videos of her grandbaby. Anything happening in American politics either one of us will call each other to discuss the issue. We did not even get to discuss the election results. My family and I will miss her but on the brighter side she is out of her pain and at peace. Our condolences to Rowland, Ayana, Matt and Lewis.

Monica was a woman of extraordinary talents and an even more extraordinary heart. She had a gift in the kitchen that left everyone who tasted her creations in awe. Her black cake and cornbread were unmatched—pure perfection that brought joy to everyone lucky enough to try them. To this day, I have never tasted a better cake, and I doubt I ever will. Monica was such a kind hearted person.
You will be missed deeply, you’re love and memories you’ve given us will live on.

Sis Monica and I developed a closeness while attending Liberty Hall Deliverance Centre, our Church Ministry. She was always pleasant, loving, caring and compassionate. She had a great love for children, especially the respectful ones. I always admired her classiness, in the way she did things and how she portrayed herself. We did a few projects together for our Church fundraiser, and I was so impressed with her ideas. Her ideas were very upscale, similar to those of royalty. Her thoughts and ideas spoke volumes to me, and I just loved her wit and tenacity. My son, Jerome, was a recipient of a scholarship that she orchestrated through the organization she volunteered at, as she told me that she admired his intelligence and how respectful he was, and that she felt he was a great candidate for a scholarship. She wanted me to accept the scholarship and say nothing. I respected her wishes until now. I told her thanks so many times, but wanted to share how thoughtful and very kind our Sis Monica was to our Ministry and individuals in the Church and in general. You were truly "one of a kind" my dear Sis Monica. Sleep on my dear sister. This is not goodbye, it's only until we meet again in glory.
