1 Corinthians 15:19 - If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
My heartfelt condolence to the family of Sis. Lena Wallace. Mother Wallace was a treasure! She was my first band leader at the Manning's Hill COGOP. She not only watched over me but my niece, Kerry-Ann, who was with me most of the time. I had the privilege of seeing her a few years ago, and just as she did back in the days, she encouraged and prayed for me. She has left an indelible mark on my life and will be remembered for sharing love and kindness to my niece and I.
I pray the family will take comfort in knowing Sis Wallace fought a good fight, finished the course, kept the faith; and henceforth is laid up for her a crown of righteousness.

“Precious in the sight of Jehovah Is the death of his saints.”
Psalms 116:15 ASV
I Alphanso Gayle affectionately otherwise called Brother Courtney and family do extend our sincere condolences to the passing of our dear beloved sister referred to as Mother Wallace. She was an example to the believers both in words and in deeds. Our sister always took us aside as young people to ask us how we were doing in the faith and always had a timely word of encouragement through the Word of God to address our needs. Mother Wallace earned that name; she was quiet but yet a powerful prayer warrior. Her favorite place was going to her closet to pray to Her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. She held the unwritten status of Mother at the Church of God of Prophecy Mannings Hill, Jamaica, where she served as a Band Leader for many years. She was an advocate for the seniors and the shut in brethren.. Mother Wallace was and will always be very special to me. She called me her son.
The last time we spoke we had such wonderful laughs sharing many precious memories.
I am certainly gonna missed the Giant of a Mother she was to the church family and by extension to the community she served in her unique way.
My family’s heartfelt love and prayers goes out to “Dads” Henry, Judith, Deidre, Kerrett and the rest of the family.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
Mother Wallace has fought a good fight; she has kept the faith. Hence forth there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall her at that day.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying write, blessed are the Dead who dies in the Lord, yeah says the spirit that they may rest from their labors and their works do follow them. Mother Wallace as was affectionately called was a humble God fearing people's person, someone who served God and served people she loved her God with every fiber of her body as a child growing up in the Church of God of Prophecy Mannings Hill mother Wallace lived an exemplary life for both young and not so young to follow, personally I am going to miss mother Wallace her encouragements daily, her genuiness her love for God, I remembered visiting with her several years ago in Canada she was an encourager as always, who never gets tired talking about the goodness of her God. I remembered several of her testimonies as a young child growing up in Manning's Hill, she worked indefatigably long and hard both at church and home mother Wallace was a mother, a friend, a confident someone whom you can talk to all day about the love of God and never grows weary. I am going to miss her daily whatsapps, her scriptures, her videos that kept me through the day. Paul in his writings declare that if this earthly House of this Tabernacle were dissolved we as house a building not made with hands eternal in the heavens. On behalf of forwarding Faith Ministries Church of God of Prophecy Nassau Bahamas my wife Veronica and our daughter Da'sha we profer our deepest and sincerest condolences to Henry and all the children especially Judith, Deidre and Kerrett with whom I grew up with, the grandchildren great grand May the soul of our dearly departed rest in eternal peace and rise in glory.
