Obituary of Lena Lenorah Barrett

Lena Lenorah Barrett was born in Chatam, St. James, Jamaica on May 19, 1932 to Lenoard Barrett and Frances Barrett.  She had a strong belief and faith in God which guided her throughout her life. She believed that in Christ she lived and moved and had her being. This belief was evident in how she conducted herself, carried out her work and interacted with people.  Lena was hospitalized on September 30, 2024 and transitioned peacefully on December 6, 2024 with her children by her bedside. Like Paul, Lena could say “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”. She will now hear well done thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord.

Lena is survived by her husband – Henry, 7 children; Dawn, Peaches, Panceita, Purpose, Judith, Deidre and Kerrett and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
