Obituary of Lincoln Howard Sylburne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lincoln Sylburne, also known as the “Candyman”. Lincoln passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024 at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife, Resna, his daughter, Sandra, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, brother Keith and sisters Emily, Hazel, and Cynthia.

Lincoln was a skilled cricketer who made a name for himself as a number 1, Left hander batsman. His passion for the sport helped build lasting friendships and a strong sense of community among those who knew him. He lived a life filled with love, laughter, and rhythm—as he could always be found on the dance floor showing off his dance skills. Above all, Lincoln was a man of faith. As a committed and active member of Revivaltime Tabernacle, he found great strength and purpose in his relationship with God and his church community.

Lincoln’s generosity, beaming smile, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love will continue to live on through his family and friends. Though we grieve his passing, we rejoice in the knowledge that he is now in the presence of the Lord.
