Every week uncle and I would chat on the phone, Canada to London vica versa, about what's going on in the world, but mostly he would be updating me on Jamaica, our favourite place, with my nosey wife in the background giving it large at me and uncle, at times in a heated political debate. The conversation would always end with big laughter when we start talking about when uncles lucky numbers would be coming up, "its coming its coming" he would say, while aunty resna in the background laughing her head off too. We all so miss that one in a million gentlemen, rest in peace uncle, I am sure all around you are laughing everyday, Dale & Mel

Our deepest condolences,
We will always remember Lincoln Sylburne not only for his kindness and wisdom but also for the joy he brought to every room he entered. His generosity knew no bounds—he was always ready to share a smile and, more often than not, a handful of candy. And who could forget his incredible dancing skills? Lincoln had a way of lighting up the dance floor, making every occasion a celebration.
Your spirit of fun, warmth, and laughter lives on in the hearts of all who knew you. Though you are no longer with us, the joy you brought into our lives will never fade. You will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
With love and gratitude,
The Smith Family: George, Ivy, Sacha, and Leighton

Sister Resna, My deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of Bro. Lincoln. I was so saddened to hear about his passing. I have so many fond memories of him as a child always ready with a “sweetie” and a smile for me. As an adult I reflect on how he much he loved you. One of the first examples of a strong marriage that I remember. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love Dedrie(Sis Lucas’ granddaughter)

Humble, loving, caring and soft spoken; that was my brother Lincoln. He never forgot his homeland Jamaica and would come to visit his sisters and their families and his friends every other year. It was always great having him and he always enjoyed being in Jamaica.
Sleep on my brother, sleep and take your rest; lay down your head upon your Saviour's breast...Oh how I love you, but Jesus loves you best. Until we meet again Linky, sleep well...love you always and forever!

My heartfelt condolences to Sis Resna and the entire family. I'm praying for you.
On Sundays, Bro Lincoln AKA "Candyman" was always at the door to welcome you with a big smile and a variety of candies. My favourite ginger flavor was always available. He would also hand out the church bulletin. I will also miss his energetic and skillful dancing at our events. It was very entertaining to watch him on the dance floor, having a good time in the Lord.
He will be sadly missed but thank God for the blessed hope of seeing him again in Glory, on that great resurrection morning, when the Lord returns.
R.I.P our beloved Candyman.

“Sister Claudette, I did not see you in church last week; what happened to you; here’s a candy for you.” l will miss hearing these words from a gentleman who genuinely cared about people and always made you feel welcome, no matter who you are.
Thank you, brother Lincoln for your kind words, deeds and encouragement over the years. The dance floor will never be the same without you but I know you are now dancing around God’s throne in the company of your compatriots who preceeded you.
After meeting Jesus face-to-face, no doubt you are catching up with your Bishop, the late Dr. Audley N. James, Brother James, Brother Paul and others.
It is difficult to believe that you are gone. R.l.P. until
we meet again around God’s throne. I will be thinking of all of you the next time I sing that song.
Sleep on “Candyman; we love you well but Jesus love you best; Good night; Good night; Good night!”
