I worked with Trudy in the Loyalty department at Shaw Direct and she would often give me, a disabled person, a lift to and from work. We had many fun and productive conversations. She loved her mom and daughter and loved the Lord. She was always bubbly and encouraging. You always knew Trudy was in the room. I was pleased to call her my friend. I will miss her, but I know that where she is now, there is no more sickness nor pain. To be absent from the body is to be preset with the Lord.

Trudy’s spunk, , drama and stories will be missed. It will be strange to have our girls’ nights and gatherings without her. Who will keep us laughing with their crazy stories? Who will bring the drama? May her laugh and bright smile continue to live in our memories. It’s bitter sweet friend. You are no longer suffering. It was a long and tumultuous road but you were a warrior. You smiled and laughed until your last days. Fuck cancer !

Trudy was truly a warrior through this very difficult battle. She was always positive, cheerful and determined to live. I remember how happy she was at one point when she got back her driver's license. We developed a close rapport through prayer and hope. May you rest in peace dear Trudy.
