Condolences to MOTHER AUSTIN family and our CHURCH OF GOD COMMUNITY.
Our dear MOTHER J. AUSTIN will be missed but we know she’s gone home to rest in the LORD.
I remember about a month ago I saw her and laugh as she complemented me( if you knew her, her smile and loving personality
was amount the many qualities Mother Austin had that cause you to LOVE her) also she was not only a powerful woman in the LORD but also known by her Brethren as the WOMAN OF GOD THAT STRONGLY REMINDED HER BRETHREN AND OTHERS THAT “PRAYER IS YOUR DAILY FOOD AND UNDER THE BLOOD” is where we should abide.
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Thx Cuz Gem for this pic! Aunt Joyce holding my first son, Marquese and Mom (Auntie’s sis) sitting at the other end of the couch at Mom’s house. My fondest memory of Aunt Joyce was when my brothers and I were kids. Every time she came to our house for a visit, she brought KFC!!! EVERY TIME! I don’t know if she took the TTC or taxi (if it was TTC, then WOW), but she never came w/out it. A bucket! Those days KFC was good. Not now. As children, we knew if she came - chicken was coming too. #goodtimes #RIHAuntJoyce #sleepon

Mama you have been an important voice in my life. From your parental advice to your wise words on relationships I hold dear to my heart. I strive to be a virtuous woman like you who loves the Lord and her family & brings honour to their name.
You never judge us or chastise us. You always spoke to us with love and understanding. You were truly an amazing role model in my life with such a sweet and gentle soul. I’m glad I was able to build a personal bond with you and confide in you while you were here.
Whenever I have faced challenges or struggles, you have been there to offer a listening ear, and words of wisdom. You have always encouraged me to forgive and to trust in God's plan, and your prayers have been a source of strength for me in my darkest moments.
Above all, I am grateful for the love that you have shown me throughout my life. Thank you for letting me know what it is like to have a great-grandmother that you can call on. Thank you for being a safe space and for your unconditional love.
~ Love Kawshe

Mama Austin or Auntie Joyce as I often called her has been a powerful woman of God that I had great admiration for. When visiting her she would not let me leave the house without praying and have me doing a prayer as well and that's a great character for a child of God. She has always encouraged me to trust God. She will be greatly missed and forever in my heart. R.I.P Mama.
