Vernon
My memories of my brother Vernon when I was a child are not much because he went to school far away from home and I did not see him often.
But there is one thing I will always remember about him and that is his love of food and the trick he used to play on me.
At meal time he would take some food from my plate that he liked to eat and tell me to put my big toe to his. He would then eat my food and ask if I could feel the food coming through from his to me. He tried this a few times before I eventually knew what a joker he was. As Vernon was quite a bit older than I we had our own groups of friends and interests which led us in different directions, then Vernon went to Canada and it was a long time before we met up again. This was when me and Debbie went on holidays to Canada.
He insisted on showing us as many of the interesting sights there were. The main one being ‘’The Carnival’’ and we loved it.
His smiles and laughter will always be remembered along with his voice of authority throughout our time spent with him in Canada and England.
Will miss you so very much.
Telford & Debbie

The Henry and Brown family impart our deepest condolences and sympathy to the Cunningham family in the passing of our dear cousin Vernon. Vernon was a beautiful light in our lives and we will dearly miss him. Even though many years have kept us apart (distance by countries), Vernon remains a shining light in our lives. Vernon was a wonderful nephew to our father (his uncle), Telford C. Brown. Vernon will forever be a light in our hearts (Lauren and Michelle). Our love and deepest condolences to the Cunningham family from your cousins, Michelle and Lauren.

I have worked many years with Peter, and there was not a day without hearing from his father’s health. Peter was a great support for his father during his illness, and I could feel how much he cared and loved, and how proud he was of his father. Peter, you father is not farther than a thought, and now, somewhere over the rainbow, he’s watching over his loved-ones.
My sincere condolences to Peter and his family, may loving memories stay live in your hearts.

My husband and I met Mr.C (as he is affectionately called) through my niece Kerry Ann who is married to Peter, his son. From day one we formed a special bond with him, which was strengthened by the fact that my husband is also a Lodge member, so they were brothers. Whenever we visited, we were always greeted with open arms and a happy welcoming smile followed with a hug and a kiss. If I visited alone, he would ask "How is the gentleman" referring to my husband. When the coronavirus pandemic hit the world with such severity, our visits were cut short for almost three years. During that time Mr C's illness progressed and his health deteriorated, but he was never far from our thoughts and prayers as we would enquire about his health from Peter and Kerry Ann.
He has left the sickness and pain behind and moved on to a place of Peace, Joy and Happiness.
Rest in Peace Mr. C
