Obituary of Vernon Egbert Cunningham

On Sunday, January 1, 2023, God called for my Father to come into his Kingdom after 83 years of living an illustrious life.

He courageously battled colon cancer and brain cancer since 2015 without any fears or tears.

Although the task of remembering and celebrating his life is and will continue to be a monumental endeavor, we WILL help each other achieve this calling because it is pale in comparison to the fight that I personally witnessed him confront over the last years of his existence. He is the greatest warrior that I will ever know and I am privileged to have had the opportunity to fight his medical ailments alongside him.

My Father leaves behind many family members and friends around the world that are too numerous to mention by name. Their lives were undoubtedly positively impacted by his mere presence. They too played an immense role in caring for him both in-person and remotely.

The process of honouring his life will begin on February 3, 2023 with a visitation from 4:00-8:00pm and then a funeral service on February 4, 2023 at 2:00pm. All those who are physically able to attend are welcome and those who are not, are encouraged to view the service online and trust in the Lord that your presence will be spiritually felt during the proceedings.

On behalf of everyone, we LOVE you Father!

He has now taken his rightful place in the Kingdom and is resting eternally in everlasting peace.
