Obituary of Laughton Oliver Nisbett

Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Laughton Nisbett, our beloved brother, uncle and cousin on February 9, 2022. His quick wit and ready smile endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

“Uncle Loppy” was always willing to coach and guide his nieces and nephews through the complexities of career pathing and life choices. His students knew they could count on him for assistance when required and as an IT professional, his co-workers recognized him as an integral part of the team.

Among those left to mourn are Kathleen Buckmire, companion of many years and long-time family friend, his sisters, Viola Jacobs in St. Kitts, Ruth Brazier, Imelda Nisbett, Hyacinth Jones, Eudora Nisbett, Sonia Tomilson, and his brothers, Samuel Nisbett and John Shoy.

We will miss him dearly and we look forward to the Grand Reunion in the sweet by and by.
