My sweet Maxine,
You were like a daughter to me; a kind, considerate, loving, selfless, positive and courageous daughter. I will be forever grateful to you for the unconditional love you have given my son and my grandchildren over the years.Life has been unfair to you in the last six years and I wish I could have eased your burden. I also wish we lived closer to one another so I could have visited more often to lend moral support in your daily struggle. I will never forget you.

I am on the Board of Directors for the Bethell Hospice in Inglewood and we have a number of wonderful community support programs for family members (adult and children) as they work through this tough time. Another place that can provide similar help is Heart House in Mississauga.
All services are free of charge paid for by our tax dollars. When the time is right I encourage you to have a look.
