I pay tribute to the memory of Deryck Ramsay, husband to my cousin EIleen Morgan-Ramsay. There are many who claim the title of father, but fewer who are a truly a "Dad". As a single mother of 4, I remember Deryck's word of encouragement to me as he said "You're doing the best you can, but If you want, I can come and drape them up- so them fly right!" Thank you Deryck. My condolences to the family, to Eileen, Tai, Marquis and Jade, Loel, Shirley and to the rest of the family. Remember, he lives on in our memories and in the legacy that he has left behind.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family of Deryck Charles Ramsay.
We love and miss you so much. Although we only met in the last 10 years, when you came to visit my father and family with your uncle, brother and son, it was a great experience, and my father appreciated it very much. Even after my father passed not long after, we still kept in touch.
We don't always understand God's plan, but we know it's best. And we may mourn the loss, but we know he's in a better place, and his legacy will live on in his children, extended family and all the lives he touched.

Deryck, my dearest friend. I will miss you so much. We have been through thick and thin for over forty years; but God knows. Thank you for being you and always being their for my children and I. Till this day my son Ryan says Uncle Deryck is the best.

"Fadda" RAM was a devoted husband, father and my friend. He was an icon. A pillar, a pioneer and a beacon of love and truth; always elevating and giving back, instilling hope and unity in the Jamaican community!
Our friendship spanned decades. Older and wiser, he was a great mentor. I will always remember countless jokes, laughter, debates, and his great advice over the years.
Memories last forever!!
May the peace that God Almighty alone provides us, be yours as we unite and celebrate Fadda Ramsay's life!
