Donovan and family, please accept my deepest condolences at the passing of your mother, wife, sister, grandmother, cousin and friend. I pray that the beautiful memories you have of your mom will fill the void of grief and pain as you mourn her loss. I pray that the God of all understanding will comfort you and your family at this difficult time, and that you will take solace in knowing that she is with her maker and sleeping in peace. Sending you love and hugs.

Ms.Pearl,
A powerful woman of God, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a wife, a singer and a dancer, how marvelous she was in each role. I can remember over 30 years ago she gave me her white hyundai car because I complained to her how I had to take her grandson on the bus. She also gifted me with many things, I still have the conair hairdryer she bought me and to this day I still use it. This just shows the giving spirt she had and I will love and cherish her memory forever.
-Your loving daughter Debi

My lovely Aunt Pearly, I cannot forget how helpful and kind you were upon my arrival to Canada. You arranged for my then 6 years old daughter to attend Sunday School by making arrangement with your church bus for pick up. You supervised her and kept her safe and at times took her to your place. She reminded me of the last time she visited you in Malton and of course how could I forget how you took the frozen fish out from the freezer and stuck in in my bag because you didn't want Roy to see it. You knew I was reluctant to take it. Anyway, you always wanted to give me something and kept referring to my mom. You are such a caring and giving Aunt. You trusted my mom so much that you left Terry and Dave with her before they immigrated to Canada.
My few visits with you in the nursing home were touching but I felt that you knew I was there.
Aunt Pearly, I will cherish the memories I've shared and hope my cousins, aunts, other relatives and friends will also cherish those happy memories of you and hope they provide comfort to us.
Rest in Heavenly Peace Aunt Pearly.

I will always remember Mrs Mcleggon as being a beautiful, loving, strong and independent woman. She truly loved her family tenderly and fiercely. She will be missed. I pray God's infinite love and healing be with you during this time of tremendous loss. Although we may not understand the tragedies in life, we are always in the Lord's hands. May God walk beside you and guide you through.

My dearest Ms Perley, for a long time many of my friends thought you were my sister and not the in-law! That's a testament to how close we were and how kind, generous and wonderful you were to Pat and I especially on our Summer holidays. Only as an adult did I realize how 2 additional children in your home for the whole Summer was such an imposition for you and Roy. But you never complained and we looked forward to visiting and spending time with Terry, Andrea, Donovan and ofcourse our big brother Roy. We will miss you dearly but will be comforted by all our fondest memories of you. RIP my love.
Vivean McLeggon.

Mr. Roy Mcleggon:
Your wife was a gem. She was much fun to be around - the life of the party. She made her valid contributions to this world. The good traits she left behind will live after her. I can say, she passed on some of her good qualities to her son -Donovan. This, then will create a lasting memory of her. May her soul rest in peace until the resurrection

If life was always springtime, we would not notice flowers, if there was never showers, sunshine would not be half as good. Life can't always be laughter, it is also filled with tears, but please remember, the bad times are the ones that makes the good times seem so dear.

Miss Perley I will always remember your strength of character, never failing to speak your truth, your humor and infectious laugh, teaching me how to walk like a lady with a gentle sway of the hips and berating me when I rolled my eyes, your deep and abiding love for your children and family, your loyalty to your husband through the ups and downs; these and so much more are the legacy you leave behind. You Will Never be Forgotten and will live on in our memories. May your soul Rest In Peace.
