Dearest family of Val, Your mom was such a fine person, so funny and had a laugh that could make me start laughing with her. We worked together at Rockcliffe MS about 5 years ago. Val was also a teacher to my daughter who was a student at the school years before. Val was warm and so joyful. Man did she love her family! Such great interactions we had. I will miss her very much. Dear Smith family: The Franco family shared our thoughts and prayers with you on this day. I always remember Val as a kind and caring educator who advocated for her students needs whenever possible. From her leadership at Rockcliffe to her Special Education advocacy at Amesbury, Val made everyone around her blessed to be in her company.
