I always thought that since her last name Moholand and my maiden name Holland were so similar we must be related. I loved this woman. She attended parties at my house and sat on the couch smiling. I always wondered what she thought about the cast of characters that always showed up. I made vegetarian dishes for her and Marlene. She smiled continuously! A precious Christian woman who raised a very special Christian family!

I met Alva Mohaland for the first time in the waiting room of our dental office. There she sat all dressed up, hat and all, waiting to be called in for her appointment. I walked over and said, "hello, it's a pleasure to me you." I'll never forget the way she looked straight into my eyes smiled and said "hello, it's my pleasure to meet you." I just couldn't hold back, I hugged her. There was something about her that was so welcoming, warm, and loving. The last time I saw Alva, she was just as lovely as ever. I went to visit her at the senior home with Marlene. Even though she couldn't speak to me, I just felt she knew I was there. Alva was a wonderful woman who did everything she could for her family. May her memory live forever in your hearts.
My deepest condolences to this beautiful family.
May she Rest in Peace.

Sis Alva affectionately called Mama would light up the room with her bright eyes and a smile to die for. I will always cherish our little chats on Sabbath and even though she couldn't remember me I would still visit her in the nursing home. Mama will be missed by I'm sure by all who knew you but it wont be long b4 we will meet again. One thing you certainly don't have to worry about getting Covid ur safe .RIP Mama see u soon.
