Obituary of Selena Esata Fruze
Selena Esata Fruze was born on June 3, 1951 to Charlotte Strachan and Charlie Furze in Lawson District, St. James Jamaica. Selena is from a large family with several brothers and very few sisters. She was the only girl for her mother as her mother’s other daughter died at birth. Selena is predeceased by her parents and most of her siblings namely: Ernest (Vannie), Frank (Ned), Earl, Nancy, Betty and John (JD) and also son-in-law Elvis.
She is survived by her 5 children: Esata, Kerry, Courtney (Troy), Keisha (Pethal) and Shorlette. Son -in-law (Nathan), 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as siblings: Lorenze, Rudolph (Bunny), Charlie (Liley) and Mary Buccos nee Furze (May) her oldest surviving sibling. She has many nieces and nephews all of whom she holds near and dear to her heart. She also many cousins and great nieces and nephews.
