So sad to hear that Donette passed away. My condolences to the Family and to all who knew her. I knew Donette for more than 20 years. We met at Honest Ed's and became friends instantly. Unfortunately I moved from Toronto a few years after we met. Our friendship continued... phone calls, emails, postcards, etc. I last saw Donette in the Fall of 2019 after she had surgery. My husband and I visited her at her home. She was upbeat, but I never imagined that it would be the last time I would see her... I last spoke to her by phone sometime in May. I emailed her over a month ago, no answer. I googled her name and came across her obituary. I couldn't believe it. I know that beautiful smile. It was her... May the doors of Heaven open wide and the Lord welcome you in his arms. I will miss you forever my Dearest Friend. Forever in my heart...

On behalf of Epilepsy Toronto, I would like to extend my condolences to Donette's family and close friends. I was very heartbroken to learn of her sudden passing. Donette was a very treasured member of the Epilepsy Toronto family and will be sorely missed by staff and members alike. We will miss her warm smiles, her outgoing personality and her resilience in the face so many health challenges. May her soul rest in peace.
