My name is Michael Campbell
No doubt all of you that knew Aunty Valerie was touched by her in a special way. I would just like to tell you how she was special to me.
Growing up in Jamaica after your parents leave you to go to foreign as they would say and you living with your grandparents or other family I lived some times with my Grandpa. That is where I first met Valerie. She was a very caring person she had a certain style about her. What I do remember most it's her talking to me on the days when I was down encouraging me to continue with my artwork. Then I used to draw or sketch and she used to talk to me, make me laugh. She was even trying to teach me how to talk gypsy!!! I still don't know how to do that to this day.!!! She used to love to dance. I remember because our back yard used to back on to a recording studio call (King Tubby's) so when they were singing and making music we would be dancing in the yard. When I got older I used to help her out by babysitting the kids sometimes so her and my Uncle Errol would go to party on Friday/Saturday night. Thinking about it now I never got paid.I remember her loving her family Valerie was a very outspoken person she was not afraid to tell you what was on her mind. As I got older we didn't see each other that much anymore but we kept in contact with each other via Facebook and she would laugh on my jokes comment on politics and laugh at people who was crazy enough to put their life on social media. The last time we communicated that way was on June 27th and then she was gone.
You will truly be missed by everyone that know you. The Lord knows why he took you because you're not suffering. Untll we meet again Auntie Valerie. Blessings Rest in Peace.
Amen.

Aunty Valerie was such a sweet, loving and caring soul, the life of the party as they would say. May her soul rest in peace. Love always Aunty Valerie. Your memories will forever live on.

Our Deepest Sympathies to the Williams Family.
We have all lost a true pioneer, a compassionate and strong member of our family. Valerie was the heart of our family who made us very proud.
Val, your presence was immediately noticed whenever you entered a room...always smiling! You were so much fun to be around that we often wondered why you did not become a professional comedian. You were full of life and loved your family dearly. Your children will take great comfort in knowing that you were very proud of them. You were a true gem to us also and will be sorely missed. Your memories will live in our hearts forever.
Sleep In Eternal Peace, Dear Sister.

Valerie, you have been my Inspiration and Rock throughout my time in Canada. Your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten as you always gave 100 percent of yourself to others. It takes a woman like you who makes it possible to love and forgive others. You showed me that no matter what life offers, to make the best of it and be grateful.
You were the kind of mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend everyone should have. Very compassionate, jovial, independent and proud. I will always cherish the good times we had and our long conversations on the phone.
My sincere condolences to your family and may Perpetual Light shine on you till we meet again.
Nuff Love!
Your niece,
Precious

SIP Auntie Valerie! My father *Michael* always spoke of your vibrant style and how you would take care of him in Jamaica. Your passing hit him HARD! I'm sad that we never got the chance to meet again in my adult years, but I know we shall meet again one day. I pray your sleeping peacefully and light a candle in your memory.
Blessings and love
