Obituary of Lloyd Septimus Williams

It is with great sadness that the family of Lloyd Williams announce his passing on Monday, December 2, 2019, at the age of 82, after a brief illness.

Lloyd was a loving husband to Yvonne for 33 years.  Devoted father to his 6 precious children Matthew, Maria, Juliet, Steve, Coswell and Leroy. Cherished 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grand children. Adored by his 5 brothers, Waldin, Trevor, Knox, Lelon, Clifton, and 3 sisters Gennifer, Monica, Carmen (predeceased), Gloria (aunt), and Dasley (aunt). Loved by his only living uncle Albert. Lloyd will be greatly missed by his cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Lloyd was born on October 18, 1937 in Samuels Prospect, Trelawny, Jamaica, W.I. He came to Canada to start a new life and path, and every venture he pursued had flourished with his hard work and determination. Lloyd has the ability to touch people with love, kindness, positive energy. His humble attitude influenced many people, whether he knew them for many years or just for only a brief meeting.

Lloyd's felt gratitude by nourishing those around him with his values, love, faith and music. Raising his family came first, and a passion for God’s creation through his gardening. He enjoyed playing music for himself and others, watching baseball, watching the Raptors with his amazing wife Yvonne, taking photos of beautiful landscapes and photos for people and their special occasions, eating/preparing food (crab & lobster especially) and playing dominoes with his buddies. He enjoyed hosting occasions with the people he cared for and sharing with them his love for cooking and showing them the classier side of life. 

"The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death." --Isaiah 57:1-2  

Even in death you are still loved and forever will be. You have touched the hearts of so many who owe you a lifetime of gratitude. We are not saying goodbye forever but goodbye for now. God has now a precious and loving father, brother, & friend, the one we have lost. Your company will even regale God and the angels in heaven and make them smile.
