Dearest Lee...
Very saddened dealing with your passing....knowing that you were so happy and looking forward to your new house...dog and most importantly your music room which you were having constructed just the way you wanted it.....you were excited and I saw that knowing how much the music meant to you ....creating new songs was something you had been doing for many years...it was your thing!!! I remember the day you came home with a tiny recorder...i ask you why do you have that....and you said ....just in case I come up with a song thought...i want to remember so I just tape it and when I am ready I will create a song....he loved writing and did it well...
Lee .... I will forever miss you....you were a great husband...and father....i will cherish our memories...
Until we meet again
Love Donna...
RIP......

After high school my dear brother lee was on walkabout in British Columbia and California for a while. i remember the day in 1974 when he returned to our home on main street in Hartland, New Brunswick.
He was 20 and i was 16. He was driving a ridiculously cool dune buggy (which i got to drive that summer), his hair was shoulder length and he had his dog and his guitar by his side. i actually kissed him on the cheek. His dog trotted in the house, wandered into the living room and left a deposit on the green carpet.
What an entrance.
I love ya Lee and I am gonna miss ya.

I am very sad to hear about Lee and would like to offer my deepest condolences; he will be truly missed by many and we will miss that smile.
Lee hired me to my first permanent job out of school in 1986; he was a patient man, had a uniquely supportive way of teaching and encouraged the best of people … he definitely help form a foundation that I have leaned on throughout my career.

Lee was as my silent, gentle giant.
Hidden beneath his calm demeanour, relaxed vibe and supercool stroll, was a very deep and special soul, a man who gave of himself freely, expecting nothing more than a smile in return, truly a one of a kind human being.
To be in Lee’s company brought on laughter and charm. Lee was happy to oblige with his keen wit and sense of humor—second nature to him and a gift to those in his presence.
He was a master at subtly capturing the moment and entertaining, and lifting everyone’s spirits with his down-east special brand of humour, often when it was needed most and always appreciated.
I was greatly impressed by Lee’s stellar talents as a singer-guitarist and songwriter. He was diligent and persistent and passionately focused on methodically writing poetic lyrics and beautiful melodies. He kept working at it ’til he had composed a beautiful song.
It is my honour and privilege to have met Lee and shared many special moments together. I will miss him dearly and hold a special place for him in my heart forever.
My deepest sympathy to Lee’s beloved daughter Katherine, son Thomas, grandsons Scott and William, extended family, and all his close friends.
God Bless Lee’s beautiful and unique soul:
Barbara

Working together with Lee for over 17 years has been a ‘gift’. He was always more of a colleague than a ‘boss’. Lee would make tough times seem not so bad because his nature was to be positive and keep things light in our creative circle. We shared our love of guitars and music too; we had many laughs and fun together. He’s in my heart forever…

Lee was a terrific guitar player and singer, and I met him first during the years we owned and operatet the Crowsnest in Tobermory, Ontario. He would often drop in when he was up this way, and would always have his guitar in hand. We always welcomed him to "sit in" with The Harbour Rats for a tune or two, and of course our customers loved him. He will be missed.......but of course he is still playing, just in a better venue!
