Obituary of Myrol Valentine Parsons

Myrol Valentine Parsons
August 13, 1943 – December 29, 2024

It is with profound sadness and gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Myrol Valentine Parsons on December 29, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on August 13, 1943, in Santa Cruz, Trinidad and Tobago.  Myrol resided in Brampton, Ontario, where he became a pillar of faith, love, and service in his community.

A devoted servant of God, Myrol lived his life with humility, compassion, and unwavering faith. As a devoted husband to Lorna for 50 years, a caring father to his four children Iyabo, Olanyi, Omari and Ahkinoah (né Adrian), loving grandfather of 12, a cherished brother, uncle, and an elder of his church, Myrol was a source of wisdom and love to all who knew him.

Myrol’s dedication to evangelism was evident through his tireless service as an usher at Kennedy Road Tabernacle, his involvement in prison ministry, and his contributions to the Regeneration Outreach Community. His work reflected his deep commitment to sharing God’s love and helping those in need.

Myrol’s life is a testament to the scripture:

"Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord." – Matthew 25:23

He leaves a legacy of faith and service that will continue to inspire all blessed to know him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Regeneration Outreach Community, an organization close to Myrol’s heart.

Though we mourn his passing, we rejoice in the knowledge that he has entered the eternal presence of his Lord and Savior. Myrol’s love, faith, and service will remain in our hearts forever.
