Dear Rosi,
My heart is broken, I still remember you from 1993 when we started University (Greatest Uites). I am blessed to have known you. You are such a caring and loving friend turned sister. You were with me for most of my family gatherings in Benin, I was also opportuned to have traveled with you to your village for a funeral. We have lost a rare gem, there is no two of you my sister. We talked in November and even chatted in the last days , you were in high spirits and was even the one telling me all is well.l am happy you served the Lord to the fullest. Rest on my sister till we meet again to part no more.
The lord will comfort your son, your siblings and your mother at this time. It is well.

My beautiful in and out sister Rose, it is so difficult for me to write this message, I was so pained when I heard she had gone Home to her Father, Lover and Maker. Who are we to question The Almighty God who does as He pleases. But we have the assurance that all things work together for good for those of us who are His children, so the Homecall of Rose will work together for good and God will comfort us all, especially her mum, and heal the pain of separation.
Rose has fought the good fight, she has finished the race, she has kept the faith, so she will receive the crown of righteousness from the Lord.
I will always remember Rose as the loving unassuming person she was. When she worked with me, she got on well with everyone, she had a good team spirit.
I was still hoping that whenever I visit Canada, I would see her....hmmm.
We will miss her so much, but I pray God wipes away our tears and gives us the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness
May He satisfy us with long life and show us His salvation in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
Mercy

Words fail me! This hits hard!
Our darling beautiful Rose, writing this tribute is hard. Coming to terms with the news of your passing to glory is not easy.
I remember our growing up days in Apapa. Everyone who met you for the first time stared at your beautiful face for a while then will say out loud "Rose fine sha"
You were friends with everyone and would go the extra mile. Very very caring.
I remember vividly how you forgave so quickly whenever you had a quarrel with someone, meanwhile Evi and I would be giving the person an attitude only to find that you have moved the issue behind you and back as friends with the person. This use to make us ( Evi and I) upset and wonder why you let go grudges so easily.
You kept in touch with everyone. You checked on everyone, you united lost contacts, your shoulder was large enough to accommodate anyone willing to lean on it. You loved to help, even on your sick bed you didn't stop being a blessing.
I could go on and on, so much stories to tell
The consolation I have is that you knew the Lord and died in Him.
Rest on darling Sister till we all meet at Jesus's feet.

Roseline, I still can’t believe you are gone. We were friends from when we were 10/11 years old in form 1 of high school.in Ondo. Through the good, the bad and the ugly we stayed friends till today and through it all I can honestly say you stayed the same, sweet, caring loving understanding, loyal person that you are. My only regret is that I didn’t make it to Canada to visit. We kept postponing it to next summer that never came. You will be missed by many. I will miss you my sweet, God-loving friend. May you rest in peace.

Hmmmmm------- Oghogho, it’s difficult for me.
I should be writing your thanksgiving message; it should be the testimonies we planned for. All our discussions, the promises, our plans, goals and aspiration flew away with you.
Omo willy, you fought a fight of faith, you walked with the Lord. A prayer warrior, a dancer for Christ. Your voice resonates in my ear every minute- my gist partner.
Omotola, you are the bridge that connect all your friends’ home and abroad. You kept friends, friends of 40-45 years. You looked out for everyone. Bold, strong and courageous. A kindhearted soul, generous, a giver, even on the sick bed, you still gave to the needy and the poor.
Aunty Rose, Olorun lo lemi re- as you always said.
You are the godmother to my sons. How can I forget how you took care of my first son? You were there for me for the first 3months neither would I forget your efforts when I was operated at LUTH for the second son that came after many miscarriages. You stood by me when I was wheeled to the theatre. You were registered at ICU, 7am-11pm taken care of your godson, my sis, you were a guru when it comes to Omogwu.
Ore mi to fe mi tokantokan when our path crossed in 1994 at the University of Ibadan, faculty of Art, Philosophy department, you asked me why I borrowed a course in Philosophy which you majored on. You said and I quote; ki lo n wa ni Logic? course ti awa Philosophy students gan n sa fun, o le o (what do you want to do with Logic. It’s a difficult course). I bought add and delete form straight.
Our stayed together in room F1 Queen’s Hall was memorable. Since then, I have never regretted getting to know you.
Rossy, my mum and siblings found it difficult to believe that you are gone.
To say that I will miss you is an understatement.
Heaven has gained a beautiful soul, an Angel.
You finished your earthly mission.
You are now in a perfect place, where there is no pain, no sorrow, no sadness.
Continue praising, singing and dancing for your MAKER till we meet to part no more my sister from another mother.
Mummy Victor, Victor will carry on with your legacy.

I was away and couldn't help her when she had my nephew who's now 11... She said you stepped up to the plate and helped her take care of him. You made it so easy for her and for that we will forever remain grateful. May your beautiful and cheerful soul rest in perfect peace... You'll be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege to meet you. Sleep on beloved... May God give your family the fortitude to bear this great loss... Adieu Aunty Rose....

Sister Rose was an angel in human form. We only met her early this year when we relocated to Canada, and she took us in. She was very helpful to us. She had a very big heart, so kind, and always ready to extend a helping hand. She made our relocation easier than it would have been. We surely wish we could have more time to spend with her. Our prayer is that Almighty God grants the family the fortitude to bear this huge loss. "May Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her". May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. From the family of Kingsley & Esther Onwusiribe
