Obituary of Ray Junior McIntyre

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ray Junior McIntyre on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Brampton Civic Hospital, at the age of 63. Ray was surrounded by his loving family during his final moments.

Ray Junior McIntyre, lovingly known as Ray, was born on October 11, 1961, in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, to the late Reginal McIntyre and Cynthia Morris. He was a man of unwavering love and devotion, and his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. Ray is survived by his beloved wife, Lesa-Lee Anderson McIntyre, with whom he shared a life of deep love and companionship. He was a cherished brother to Raylette, Donna, Sophia, Melonie, Dacia, Lorraine, Cheryl, and Vinette, and a supportive brother to Neil, Byron, Greg, Wayne, and Mark. His children, Kelsey, Jhannel, Novia, Kemesha, Dadrian, Rayon, Ricardo, and stepchildren Alyssa, Ameika and Kevin who were the light of his life, along with his 13 wonderful grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy.

The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Ray's life and share their memories during the visitation at New Haven Funeral Centre. Written tributes and expressions of sympathy will also be shared on this day and left at a designated desk.

Though Ray is no longer with us, he will remain forever close in our hearts, walking with us through life until we meet again. We take comfort knowing that God has awarded him the crown he truly earned, for his love, kindness, and generosity.

Ray, you will be dearly missed by your family, friends, co-workers, and all whose lives you touched, both in Canada and abroad. Rest in peace, our beloved, and thank you for everything you have done for us.

Ray's final homegoing funeral mass will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Locovia Seventh Day Adventist Church in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, W.I.
