In loving memory of a loving person my cousin Janice. I remember the fun times we had, especially as children. One memory that stands out is you, my sister and I dressing up in our parents clothing, acting all weird and funny. I will always love you and you will be missed cuz. Rest in heavenly peace.

To the beloved family of Janice, please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that my family and I are praying for you during this difficult period of your life.
I have so much fond memories of Janice from the mid 70’s on and throughout her lifetime. She was the cutest and happiest little girl one could ever imagined. We loved each other so much that I always considered myself as a second mother to her. It was always a family affair with Lennox and my husband being related; naturally, Maxiene and I became best of friends and so were our children. Her parents and family loved her very much. I remember Maxiene would dress both of her girls in this beautiful uniform to attend their youth group meeting every Friday at their place of worship. She always wanted the best for all of her children. Some of the highlights our children experienced were sleepovers, birthday parties, family get togetherness, christenings, the works, and Janice was the take-charge person.
In her adult years, I remember Janice as a highly intelligent woman who was endowed with so many God-given talents. She was an accomplished poet, writer, and articulate speaker to name a few. I still cherish one of her poems she wrote in memory of our beloved son who passed away over 30 years ago. Janice was hard working and commanded respect where her autonomy was concerned. Her autonomy was an important part of her life and was well respected by all up to the last minute. Her pride and joy is her beautiful daughter, Kaila who she loved so much.
Janice really loved the Lord and always wanted to be baptized. I remember a few years ago while on a volunteer assignment, I received a call from her enquiring where she could find a good church as she really wanted to be baptized. I made a few suggestions to her, but somehow we lost touch with each other for a while. I knew that she was eventually a part of a church and was happy. During her illness, she invited me to her baptism but, unfortunately, she was hospitalized and it never happened. One thing I can say is that Janice had faith in the promises of God and had the will to live. She believed in prayer and would even asked the doctors and other health professionals at the hospital to pray for her. Janice was always surrounded by persons who prayed for her, encouraged and gave her hope up to the end. We thank God for her life.

My heart is so heavy right now. My condolences goes out to her family especially her daughter Kaila. One thing we all knew about Janice, she was a tough woman, I knew this because she was my basketball coach. We have one numerous games because of this Janice. As I got older, we even coached basketball teams together for BMBA, and Kaila there for all of it. Janice was like a big sister to me, I always knew I can find a friend in her. Janice you are truly going to be missed. Love you very much!!

Hello Family,
Janice will be greatly missed. She will indeed live on in our lives forever. Her light will never dim. One memory I would like to share is the time when myself and Phylisha went along with Janice to see the stage production of the "Harder They Come" we had a great time! Thank you Janice for dragging me out of the house to enjoy life a little bit before getting back to studying. Rest in peace.

My condolences to the Jaffa house as it is affectionately known.
I have so many fond memories of my cousin and I growing up. We were like twins. Everytime we got together it was a party. Janice was a bright and talented soul with many gifts she was always ready, and willing to help others wherever and whenever. We were very close throughout our youth and in to our twenties. Even though we didn't see much of each other, we always made sure to be the first person to call every year at midnight and wish the other a happy birthday. I will miss those calls:(
Rest well my cousin.

From the moment I meet Janice as a child with her 2 braids at my home in Mississauga with her mother she had an effect on me for life. Her beautiful big smile would radiant the room. Janice was a beautiful , intelligent woman. Everytime we met she had a story to share or even would provide me with information about a topic. She loved music. Not just to listen to it but ti dance as well. Long before girls night out Janice was having girls night out once a month at her place. We would get together and. Do just that have a girls night out. Love you cousin from your cousin Sharon and all of her siblings. You will be forever in our hearts
For the family my deepest condolences. life as we get older gets busy and we don’t always find the time to connect with the people we love. Blessed.

It had been many years since I saw Janice. Then by chance in 2023 my husband and I ran into her and daughter Kayla at the Ikea cafeteria. We all ate together and it was a fun time filled with jokes and laughter. It was easy to see that Janice and Kayla were not just mother and daughter but best friends. That chance reunion led us to stay in touch and we shared more laughter during my visits with her in hospital. I’m grateful for those moments with such a beautiful, strong woman. My condolences to Kayla, Charlene, Mom, and family. Rest in Peace my friend.

In loving memory of Janice Nixon,
I want to share my condolences with the rest of the family. Janice or Aunty Janice as I used to call her was such a bright light in my life, always with a smile that could light up even the gloomiest of days. Remember how she used to bring such joy and laughter wherever she went, and the way she treated me with such kindness.
As cousins, she made every moment special, not just with her thoughtful gifts, but with the way she made me feel loved as a child. Even now, thinking of her brings back those precious memories of the times she use to visit our family back home.
We'll always hold onto those memories and the love she shared with us. Even though she's no longer with us, her spirit lives on in our hearts, reminding us to be kind, generous, and to keep smiling through life's ups and downs.
Rest easy, dear Janice. You'll always be remembered fondly and deeply missed.
We love you. ❤️
