Obituary of Octavice Clotilda Cumberbatch

In loving memory of Octavice Clotilda 'Janet' Jack-Cumberbatch, who peacefully departed from this world on Wednesday, Jan 10, 2024, in Toronto, Canada, at the age of 80. A devoted wife of 44 years to her late husband, Altie. A cherished mother, and beloved matriarch, Janet will be profoundly missed by her five children, three daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, six grandchildren, extended family, and a multitude of friends.

 

Janet was a woman of quiet strength, known for her infectious laughter and warm spirit. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in cheering for her beloved Toronto Blue Jays and watching basketball. Her love for spending quality time with her grandchildren was evident in the precious moments they shared.

 

As we bid farewell to Janet, let us remember the legacy of love, laughter, and joy she leaves behind. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
