Obituary of Anita Carter

Anita, the matriarch, affectionately known as Neats, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Mississauga, Ontario. Widow of the late Garvan Carter, mother of Andrea Carter, grandmother of Nicholas Banfield and great grandmother of Keiran and Camryn Banfield.  Born in Christ Church, Barbados on July 3rd, she was the eldest sister of Christopher, Clarkson (deceased) and Wilber Harding, Evlyn Brathwaite, Japheth Harding, Pamela Holder, Sandra Darlington and Patrick Harding.  Aunt and cousin to many of the Harding and Miller families. Friend of Merle Scantlebury and many others.    

Neats will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
