Sending condolences to the Vernon family at this difficult time. I had the privilege of working with Delarona Vernon in the classroom. I will miss her upbeat personality and her wonderful sense of humour. She will forever be missed, especially by all the children she helped and cared for over the years. I had the privilege of knowing Mrs. Vernon the year I taught her daughter. She and Mr. Vernon both volunteered to support my students by reading with them. Her kindness and skill with the children were wonderful, and she continued to volunteer the following year. Mrs. Vernon was a force for good in the world. My deepest sympathy goes to Mr. Vernon and the Vernon family.

Mrs. Vernon will be remembered for her kindness, love, and positive impact she had on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her students adored her as her calm ways, warm smile and compassionate heart made a difference in the lives of so many. My deepest condolences to the Vernon family. I first met Mrs. Vernon and the entire family when Tedra was in my class. Delarona was such an important fixture in our Fairview community and was so caring towards students and staff. It was wonderful to be reunited with her most recently at school. Her dedication and care to her students was amazing and an inspiration. My deepest sympathies on your profound loss. She will be remembered for her kindness, her big heart, and the pride she showed for her family.

There was no woman more beautiful, loving, caring and genuine. I met Delarona for the first time when I had the honour of teaching her son, many years ago. We continued our relationship long after that, and even worked together years later with the Peel District School Board. I was blessed to know Delarona and to love her and her beautiful family. She will always hold a very special place in my heart and will never be forgotten. Much love to the family during this emotional time. ❤️
