Obituary of Rubylyn Reid

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rubylyn Reid, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. Rubylyn left us peacefully on Friday, November 17th, 2023, in Richmond Hill, at the age of 79.

Ruby was a beacon of strength and love throughout her life. She faced her battle with Parkinson's with the same courage and grace that she approached all aspects of her life. Her resilience in the face of adversity was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

A devoted Christian, Ruby's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She attended church every Sunday, a practice she maintained with unwavering commitment until she could no longer do so physically. Her faith was a source of comfort and strength, both for her and those around her.

Ruby's warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love touched the lives of many. As a mother and grandmother, she was a guiding light, generously sharing her kindness and laughter. Her presence in our lives was a gift that we will always treasure.

In addition to her family, Ruby had a wide circle of friends and relatives who will miss her dearly. Her ability to connect with people from all walks of life, her sense of humour, and her unwavering support for those she loved will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

As we mourn the loss of Ruby, we also celebrate her remarkable life. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
