To Ruth and family, our deepest condolences Peter was a gentle soul we knew him for many years over 15. He did our taxes with ease picked up the documents and dropped them off. This was something we appreciated about him he was just so easy to talk to and helpful. Once he wouldn’t do things the same way anymore we met him on his terms. Peter will always be a cherished friend and a big brother. He was always willing to take a moment of his time to explain things to you in detail and provide some recommendations in order to ensure that everything was in order with you. I'll always remember that feeling I got after having a conversation with Peter, that sigh of relief knowing that everything was in the right hands and as in scripture, I felt "it was good".
One unique character trait I noticed about Peter, in the most recent years of knowing him, was how he would light up around children and how they would quickly get attached to him. They too could see the beautiful spirit within him.
Peter you will be truly missed.

I met Peter through a mutual friend to do my taxes and from the day we met you could see he was a man if God who cared for others. I am still in shock to receive the news of his passing but he lived an exemplary life, touching all those he came in contact with. My family and I are deeply sadden that Mr. Minot is no longer with us. My deepest condolences to Ms. Ruth and extended families and friends. I am grateful to have known Mr. Minot, he was a soft spoken, kind and gentle human with true Christian qualities. I especially loved when he took time out of his "very busy" schedule to answer my many tax questions. Always so patient too (that's how I cam to know Mr. & Mrs. Minot). Peter Minott aka Sugar Minott got this nickname from the good singing voice he had. I always looked forward to hear him sing his favorite Dennis Brown songs his renditions were on point. We will never know as Our Father in heaven does things in His time and on His watch.
