Obituary of Shyiem Nathan Anthony Bell
It is with great sadness that we announce the transition of a beautiful being that touched the hearts of all he came in contact with.
Our warrior, Shyiem Nathan Anthony Bell, took his place amongst angels on the morning of Monday, March 27,2023 at the early age of 14.
Born on August 23rd, 2008, Shyiem was a blessing neatly wrapped in a handsome package. His quiet temperament earned him the nickname Shy, until elementary school when he found his voice. Never shying away from an opportunity to tell it like it is, he was an unfiltered, reflective mirror of truth, yet he had a way about him that his critiques gave you strength. His diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes at the age of 3, didn’t slow him down at all. He loved hard, played harder and enjoyed life to the fullest.
His kind, creative, comedic energy made him quite popular wherever he went. A fighter and protector with a heart of gold, his family was everything. An intellect, wise beyond his years, he was an old soul that was often misunderstood as he never hesitated to challenge an injustice, ask the hard questions or create an uprising of his own.
He is survived by his Mother Simone Bell; Father Shemaiah Anderson; his Brothers Zaire and Amani; Nicholas D, his aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, great grandparents and extended family and friends.
~ Forever Young. Forever loved. Thank you for showing us what love is. Long Live Shy
