My prayers go out to the whole family, may the love and peace of God comfort you all.
George is one of the most loving, caring person I've ever met. He was always thinking about everyone needs over his. In the midst of his sickness he was so positive, still encouraging you while he's in pain. When ever I asked him how he was doing? I would tell him that I want the real thing and not what's going to make me not worry. He will be greatly missed.
His life lives on in the heart of many. He left a piece of him with everyone that has ever been in contact with him.
Rest in peace my brother and my friend, there's no more pain.

He was always there with a joke if you was down. He was the life of the party. Always making sure everyone enjoyed themselves. To my uncle rest easy for you no longer have to go thur anymore pain. I will always cherish the moments that we shared together. The phone calls when I was lost and you knew the right words to make me feel better. Or help me see the way I could have done it differently. Today you lay in your final resting place. Your pain is gone and I know granny and sir champ (grandpa) is waiting to welcome you into heaven with open arms. Tell them we them them too. I know its goodbye today. But we will see each other again uncle Beeks. You are loved by many and will be missed by all who knew you. Love marcus!!

One thing I remember about George is how welcomed he made me feel any weekend when I would come over he would say "Faith come come...are you hungry (and I always was) ...come sit eat...do you need anything" it always felt like home with him there, he always had a smile that went along excellent with his kind and warm heart. He will be missed. Uncle George thank you for making me feel part of your family, thank you for the constant invites over and always having that amazing smile and welcoming heart...you will be missed.

Our condolences goes out to the Changlee family, my memories of Beeks is all those wonderful memories we had in Craig Street when the Chances family will visit our cousins the Raphael's and Roaches, then the Changlee (Changalee as we would say) kids, we will hang together. Then we migrated to Canada and it is true the world is such a small place, we met again at Lynette Waddell's funeral and I was surprised to learn that his wife is Lyn's sister, then a few years later his son and my daughter moved through the same circle and became friends through their love of music, unbeknownst to them their parents knew each other, it was a great moment when we all discovered this fact. Over the years, our families met at various functions and took time to "ketch up". George, I always will remember your gentle spirit and kindness. Time and space sometimes keeps us from making that phone call to say hi, let's correct that, I am one is guilty of that. Rest in Eternal Peace Beeks, may GOD bless your family and keep them in their grace as they go through this time of grief and sorrow. WALK GOOD SIR

It was about 15 years ago when John and I were introduced to George. At the time we were looking for someone to finish our basement and as it turned out George was the guy. After putting in his hours at his full time job he would come to our home and put in a couple of hours in the basement. Many nights before he went home he would have dinner with us and/or a beer with John. He would never miss out on picking up black pudding whenever I made. And he would always make sure he ordered enough to take home for Roxanne. As time went on we became very good friends, and, when his battle with cancer became more intense we didn’t see much of him but we kept in touch via WhatsApp.
George, now that your battle has come to an end I pray that you would be able to rest in peace and we’re very happy that we have a piece of you in our beautiful basement.

Man oh man, the day I heard you were diagnosed, I prayed that you would beat it. Roxanne is my second mom and I went to school with Brione, before even knowing his mother. I grew to be very close to the family. It was never a dull moment when you were around. One of my memories was when I came to the valentines party and swore I was gonna hol a seat because I didn't know anyone except you guys and Dain....but, you touch the dance floor and your vibe alone, made me have to reach the dance floor too. ha ha!!!! You always had a smile on your face and it breaks my heart to know that you have been taken away from your kids and especially, your beautiful grandkids. May you rest in eternal peace where there's no pain. Please guide your kids and grandkids throughout all their endeavours in life. God truly gained an angel. RIP.

So hard to put the greatness of this man into words. He has been a bonus father to me. I always felt welcomed and and part of the family. He treated me like a daughter and nothing less. His strength and positivity will always be an inspiration. He always had a sense of humour even through rough times. He was a man of integrity, honesty, loyalty and unbelievable strength. He loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally. Keep smiling, We miss you Grandpa George. You are always in our hearts ♥️

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I've found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My Life's been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch,
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.

George .You were such an amazing, kind and gentle soul.
I will never forget the time you did work for us. You barely took a break, and when you were done I was in awe of your work.
I have never seen anyone work as neat, clean and diligently as you did.
You were a master at whatever you put your hand to.
A job well done on earth. Now you are dancing with the Angels.
RIP George.

George Changlee AKA Beeks became my friend in 1980. I know his family and his wife’s family . We all lived in Campbellville Georgetown Guyana. I taught his son in Preschool. I know his daughter since she was a baby.
Beeks was a honest, kind, loyal, happy and understanding person. He loved playing music, dancing, cooking and entertaining people. He was a good listener. I called him every Monday. We would catchup on how he was feeling then we talked about old time stories. I have lost a great friend and brother. I am blessed to have known him, may his beautiful soul RIP.

Its very easy to see where Crystal gets her kind heart from. Every time I stepped foot in George's home I was always greeted with smiles and the warmest welcome. I always enjoyed watching Hunter and Justice light up with joy when he entered the room. I know his time with them was cut short but in that short time I know he gave the boys the fundamentals to be great men like how he was. Your family will forever have an angel watching over you, to guide and protect you. May he finally be at rest and without pain. Though we will all miss him dearly, we can all find joy and happiness in the legacy he left behind.

Thank you for being a prime example of an amazing man and father to my god-children, Justice and Hunter. You were an integral part of their lives and I am so happy they had you to look up to. Those memories will be with them forever and always. Thank you for your warm welcome and smiles whenever I would come around. It was such a pleasure to have met you and getting to know the man Crystal loved and admired so much. Your spirit lives on through your children and grandchildren; they have inherited an angel.

I remember his cooking as much as I remember his smiles. George was such a sweet man and I never remember him with anything other than a smiling face or little jokes that always made me chuckle. Every time I talked about him I always told people how nice he is. He always made sure to make you feel welcome to his home whether it was your first time visiting or tenth, he will surely be missed. My condolences to his family, he was definitely a good man
