Dear Mama J. What an amazing woman- you have left such a legacy for us all! "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4) On behalf of the Lawrence Clan, we would like to share our deepest condolences to the Anderson Family and Friends in Canada, St Thomas, Jamaica and the States. The world lost such a vibrant and beautiful soul. "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away"(Revelation 21:4) "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Pslam 34:18) "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever" (Psalm 73:26)... She was a vivacious mother, sister and fierce grandmother- setting examples and life-altering lessons that will resonate with us for the rest of our lives. "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." (Pslam 147:3) As we now witness Leanna presently cope with your passing, we now truly understand that you were- ARE STILL- one of her truest treasures in life and humbly thank you for being the mother she needed throughout these past years. And though we understand ourselves that we will never be able to display or follow your renowned acclimated outspoken display of what it means to be hard-working and proud Grandmother- we will continue to make efforts of carrying on your legacy and support for your granddaughters... "My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserved my life."(Pslam 119:50) Every once in a while, the world is graced with an exceptionally special person, and Mama J was one of those people. We know of the promise you made to Leanna and your grandchildren. We promise to carry on your torch and ensure that they will forever remember the battle you have fought in your name from this day forwards. Eternal rest grant unto Miss. Otis, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen. May almighty God bless us with his peace and strength, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
