To the family of the man we knew as lester. What a privilege it was to know such a sweet caring funny and loving man. My husband myself and our 3 children moved to Ontario from newfoundland in 1997. The first people we met were lester and patrick. Lester became a second dad to me and Patrick a second brother. Lester right from the beginning showed us love caring compassion and a whole lot more. My youngest daughter followed him around like a puppy, she loved him. Lester would become a very dear member of our family. We have since moved back to newfoundland but still consider him our family. We were so fortunate to know him. As our youngest daughter would say. Lester our skin color is very different but you are my family. Rest in peace my faithful friend and second dad. You will be forever loved and missed

Lesta was a true friend kind and loving, a good person very jovial and easy to communicate with. He left behind some of the most cherished memories and those special memories of him will always make me smile. When he was here in jamaica we sat and talked, company oneother, make jokes at each other and en courage each other, he will be sadly missed , gone but not forgotten. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
