Uncle Dalton. I should say “Uncle Daddy”, because that is what you were. At a time when my family was broken, during my formative years as a child, you were my dad. You and the Allwood’s showed me what “family” looks like. I will never forget that. You welcomed me with love and affection that I didn’t know or experience at the time. Your spirit was always so amazing and warm. I remember when I was a kid, I was reading my Bible before bed. You saw this. The proud look you had on your face is ingrained on my brain forever. To this day, no word of a lie, I see you looking at me when I’m reading scriptures. That is a memory I will take with me all the days of my life. You are definitely gone too soon, but I guess Jah figured we benefited from having you long enough. It is now time for Him to reap the benefits of His wonderful and glorious creation. You. You have been promoted. Love and will miss you, Uncle Daddy. Love Andrea Roberts.

My Condolences to the family, Death is something that is extremely Painful no words can describe it, only God knows the hearts of one's who mourns, but we have hope in the word of God 1 Thessalalonians 4 v 16...,may the family be comforted by this and may the Lord be near to comfort and give Peace , knowing his memories lives on in hearts that will gives smile in the moment of sadness.

I remember "back in the day" when mom had her parties. Uncle was the last one to leave. He would help with the clean-up. The dance floor would be empty. Toots and the Maytals would come on , or some ska music. Uncle would break out in dance. I saw him do a move with one leg forward and the other bent way down low to the ground, while moving forward. Such strength and control. Who knew Uncle could dance like that. Move over Chuck Berry-haha. Was very impressive
