A celebration of the making of a legend:Uncle Percy Holder. A short message from a Snow Cone Nephew: Our Uncle lived a full life. He enjoyed it to the fullest, some could argue too much. I say just the right amount. We were all along for the ride with Uncle P. It included countless stories, quizzes, and Salam Allaikums along the way. In his turns around the sun he experienced: Many children. Many businesses. Many trips. Many laughs. Lost both legs. Lost fingers. Gained many grandchildren. And all while leaving an indelible mark on the world. He went out tough as nails with a heck of story to tell. He was a legend. I’ll love him forever! We’ll love him forever. The members of The African Cultural & Development Association (ACDA) would like to express our condolences to those close to him. We also want to take this moment to also celebrate the exuberance that he brought into our lives with his presence. In the early days of ACDA's Saturday in Sophia, his house in Sophia was utilized for several years to educate and tutor our ACDA at risk youths.We will always cherish his support and we will remember him always We believe that our Ancestors only live through our memories of them.
