Shon there are no words that can express the void that you have left. You will be deeply missed; but we will always hold close the memories that we have made. We will remember your smile, your laughter, your exuberance for life; and your tenacity to fight the good fight. You are an inspiration, always willing to step for boldly an unapologetically. Now you have left us all behind and have taken flight like a magnificent eagle soaring with God. We love you and will continue to extend that love to your beautiful family. My condolences to the family. Shon was such an inspiration that no matter what she was going through she always had a smile on her face. We were on the worship team together at Faith Alive and shared some good times which I will always remember. Shon was with our program for a short time and the first thing she shared was telling us about her family. It was obvious in the pride in which she spoke about you all, that she felt blessed. She also shared her passion with us in assisting those through the criminal justice system. She was taken too soon, she had the heart and drive to make a difference for so many others. Shon you had a smile that would light up a room. Your love for your family and your love of children showed in you everyday. The way you chose to love the NPWC children as your own and taught them the love of God is a testament of your heart. Shon, you fought hard and you fought long and now it's time to rest. Sleep my loving sister in Christ, sleep and take your rest. I will miss our talks and visits; you will be missed. My condolences to Mike and the rest of your family. We have lost a wonderful person but Heaven has gained an angel.
