Temi you brought so much life and laughter to our life. No one can tell a story like Temi, we were on the floor cracking up with laughter. We will miss you but the memories will be forever. Here we are hanging out, Toronto Teen Ministry at Church. You serve and sacrifice for so many teens over the years. Praying for comfort for your family and us. Apart of our heart is still healing.

My dearest ♥️ friend Temi, I loved all the fun, crazy times we spent together and being roommates back when I was in college and you were in university. I loved all our silly, fun, serious talks. We would stay up late and just simply talk. Over the years we lived in different cities but made every effort to keep in touch. I am grateful for our last conversation back in December 2021, we talked for hours. Our last words were "I love you, "love you too" talk soon.My heart is broken for loosing such an amazing friend. I loved you then, i love you now and forever. Your friend always, See you in heaven! Valrica xoxoxo

I met Temi (virtually) last October as she was part of a wellness group I joined. She had the most vibrant personality and in the midst of her pain, comforted me during a time of loss. She has a heart of Christ, giving of herself to the very end. Sleep in eternal peace Temi! Victory is yours. Eternal life is yours. Condolences to your mom, family and friends.

Temi was there at some of my special moments in life and we were part of the teen ministry in our church. Her warmth and beautiful smile will not be forgotten. My condolences to her family. Rest in Peace.

I met Temi 6 years ago when she started teaching at Huron Heights. Temi’s dedication to her students and profession had her working long hours at school every night. In spite of the fact that she must have been exhausted, to be in Temi’s presence was to experience joy; her vivacious and giving character never wavered. Temi was truly a special person, whom I remember fondly. Except for the occasional email, I lost touch with Temi after that year; I did not know she was ill. In spite of the passage of time, I felt acute loss on hearing of her passing; I can only imagine how her family and close friends must feel. My deepest sympathy to Temi's family! Temi lit up a room and her presence contributed to a warm atmosphere. I first met Temi at Huron Heights Secondary School in Newmarket. We were both hired into the science department together. It was our first year at the school and we spent hours together after school preparing lessons for the next day. Because of her and our dedicated mentor, I never felt alone and enjoyed our time together. We ate dinner, enjoyed tea time, practiced running labs, learned together and shared resources. My greatest memory of Temi was the one Friday night we stayed so late getting ready for Monday. We were in the school until around midnight without custodial knowledge. Everything was dark when we left the school and we set off the motion sensors sounding the alarms for intruders. We were met by security personnel in the parking lot who were shocked to find us leaving so late on a Friday night. We laughed but that was the kind of person Temi was. She was a dedicated teacher who took pride in her work and her presence made for a better place. The entire science department was sad to see her go to Tommy Douglas the following year and many of her students spoke favourably about her and asked about her whereabouts years after she had left us. I was so blessed to have had that time in my life with Temi and caught up with her early during the pandemic. I am deeply saddened to learn of her battle with cancer and passing! Gone but never forgotten! Rest in peace my beloved friend. Until we meet again! Lee-Ann Hannah

My sincere condolences to Delores, Rayond and the rest of the family. I remember meeting Tami when she was six and being one of her first babysitters. She was truly a great girl growing up ,and I am happy to have been part of her journey. We lost touch for a while, but when we recently reconnected it felt as though we were never apart or lost any time. I will never forget when she contacted me last year and offered to bring groceries during COVID even as she was going through her own struggles. I truly appreciated her kindness. She will always be in my heart and I am happy to have spent quality time with her. RIP My Friend Tami Dolvis Spence

My deepest condolences to Temi's family, friends, colleagues and students. I was blessed to be a part of Temi's life both before and during her illness; as her caregiver and as a friend. She is deeply missed, especially her laugh, smile and contagious positivity. She was strong willed and lived life on her own terms!
