You loved the lord, your husband Peter and your beautiful children they were always in your conversation.
My heart is sad to hear of your passing. Although we haven't spoken in a while I will always remember and cherish you.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Dawn during her career at RBC Insurance where she touched many lives and made countless friends. She was a kind, loving and spiritual person who quickly embraced the people she met and took care of them. She loved her family and was very proud of her kids. She always encouraged, motivated and supported her peers and everyone around her. She shared her passion for cooking and her special "ice cream" with all of us.
My sincere condolences to the entire family at this very difficult time in your lives. May you be granted the strength and courage to get through this as you say farewell to Dawn, and in the coming weeks, months and years.

I had the pleasure of working with Dawn at RBC she truly was a kind loving person. She loved her family and had such strong faith. She always cared about everyone’s well-being. She helped me get started on a weight loss journey and helped me stay focused sharing her meal plans with me. I would laugh with her as her daily meals would be one meal serving for me she would laugh so hard. Even choosing her bananas, they would have to be the right small size. I of course would always pick out the biggest one and she would laugh so hard and tell me to split the banana for 2 snacks. Oh how I miss those laughs. Rest in peace my friend.
Francis family, my thoughts and prayers will be with you God will help you get through this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with Dawn at RBC. We sat across from each other. She was a beautiful, smart, kind and compassionate woman. She had such strong faith and values and an infectious spirit. We didn't stay in touch after she left RBC, but I think of her often.
One year I found these little usb Christmas trees that everyone wanted, and our team emptied the shelves of them. I came in one day and Dawn had got me little tiny presents to place under the tree, the prefect finishing touch. Every Christmas when I put out my tree I think of her.
I bought some coconut ice cream from a Caribbean restaurant the other day and it was not very good. I thought of Dawn again. In reality it probably wasn't that bad, but it wasn't Dawn's ice cream!
In 2015 I travelled to Grenada for the first time and fell in love. Dawn and I talked so much about it. I shared with her everything about the trip, everything I experienced and how it healed my soul. Dawn's Grandmother lived in Grenada and she had never been to visit. It was on her to do list but I think my trip there ignited a fire to go and do it. Last time I spoke to her she was so excited to share that she had gone to Grenada on a Mother, Daughter trip and had the same incredible experience that I had. It was her intention to return with her Husband. I hope that they did take that trip together.
Dawn was a wonderful person and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. To her family, I am so sorry and I know God will give you strength and courage in this unimaginable time of grief. Pease know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Rest in Peace Dawn

It was a gift to know Dawn. I had so much memory with Dawn and her family when I worked with her as a team. She always cared about my children and shared her thoughts and concern. And I always enjoyed hearing the stories she shared with me. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Words cannot express the sorrow and sadness. My deepest sympathies to the Francis Family.

Dearest Peter, Shelkah & Richard, Thomas & Catherine and Sherma,
Heaven has truly gained an Angel. May Dawn's memories live in your hearts forever.
Dawn and I met while working at Scotia. She sat besides me and we created a wonderful friendship which we kept throughout the years. She was my work buddy, lunch buddy and yes my shopping buddy. I can clearly hear her infectious laughter ringing through the Bay and Eaton Centre.
Dawn was sweet, Kind and caring as she was beautiful, inside and out.
She referred to me as her "Little Sister"
They say friends are the family we choose, being chosen was an honor.
I know my life was blessed through her friendship. Rest in peace my beautiful Sister...............until we meet again
Love you,
Sandine Hack ( Hasib, Jenna and Halie)

I met Dawn on the GO train to Toronto and we were able to connect and laugh and share so much with each other. I remember Dawn’s caring kind smile. Her friendship was an unexpected beautiful thing and I admired her fierce love for her family and God. Dawn you made the world better and I was able to see all the thoughtful ways this was shared with us all. To Peter and the Francis family my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dawn, as parents with young kids, Del and I always admired how you had a vision for your children, that the passion you had for music and the Lord, would not only be instilled in them but exuded through them. I won't forget the years you and Peter sacrificed to see that vision become a reality. You were single-minded and knew what it meant to persevere. You have taught us so much.
Our hearts are broken. You can't be replaced. We know we will see you one day, but boy do we ever wish you were still here.
Rest in peace precious Woman of God.
To the Francis Family, know that we love you all so much. We can't even begin to imagine what you are all going through but we know God does. So, we pray for His strength to carry you through, His arms to surround you, His grace to sustain you.
Love,
Delroy, Joy, Julian, Bryden and Sara Brown

Where do I begin.... I remember when Dawn came to work with us and I got the privilege to work along side her each day. I was graced with her positive attitude, energy and calming spirit. Very quickly did I end up referring to her as my work mom, because that is how comforting she always were for me. Always there regardless of what I had to share, talk about and never with judgement. The best part of walking into the office and without fail was being greeting with "hello my dear"
Your strength, courage and resilience is that to be admired by all.
My deepest condolences to you and your family in this tough time. I miss you dearly and until I see you again and hear you say "hello my dear"

Momma Francis was always so loving and warm. I remember meeting her for the first time at Shelkah’s 13th birthday party. I ate roti and what is still to this day the BEST coconut ice cream I have ever tasted. What the earth has lost heaven has gained. May her beautiful soul Rest In Peace with the Lord. I love you momma Francis ❤️

Sending heartfelt condolences and prayers on your loss. Dawn was an encouraging and uplifting co-worker who was always there for a sympathetic ear and inspiring sounding board - no matter how busy she was she was positive, stable and calm and I never saw her get flustered. What a great example to aspire to - she lives on in our hearts and memories and brings a smile whenever I recall her.
