To the McCurvin Family
If life was always springtime we wouldn't notice flowers, if there was never showers, sunshine would not be half as good, life can't always be laughter, it is also filled with tears, but please remember, the bad times are the ones that makes the good times seems so dear"Rest in peace Bro.McCurvin, your mission is accomplished. A FATHER HAS GONE,
“As a father has compassion on his children...” (Psalm 103:12)
Life, O life, why are you so uncertain
No one knows what is behind the dark curtain
Death comes and sweeps folks away
Often there is not even a word that we can say
Death, you fearsome grim reaper
You make us ache because of your dark caper
Our only hope and our single certainty
Is that our Lord has conquered you; He has promised eternity
Death, you will soon die
Then none of us will even sigh
Very soon we will rise into the sky
To be with our Lord! He will wipe our eyes dry
(Errol A. Lawrence, 2012)
After this sunset there will be a. glorious sunrise
"And oh what a sunrise it's going to be
Death will lose its sting
And the grave its victory
The silence will be broken
And the storm clouds rolled away
I hear the saints and angels singing on that homecoming day."
My wife and I send our deepest sympathies.

My deepest condolences to Donna and her mother. Words I cannot find. I cannot imagine what you have endured and what you continue to experience. I have known you for over 46 years and have known your family for that time span. Lloyd and Velma are an inspiration when it comes to family and true meaning of love . They were an inseparable and loving couple
Tears are flowing as I remember fond memories of them. The last memories are from the boat cruise in Toronto they both loved music and dancing, when They played reggae Lloyd and Velma wherever they were on the boat they found the dance floor. Lloyd always had his charismatic smile and always always had his polite mannerisms. He was a warm and good person
I know his family and extended family are grieving
But the legacy and goodness to others that he has imparted
will always live on in us
Lloyd you are with the angels
May your soul Rest In Peace

Years ago, about 30 or so, I was working as a student in Terminal One at the airport. Bro McCurvin happened to be working in the underground garage with some workers repairing the stairs. I don’t exactly remember what he was doing … but he whispered to me to write my name when they all left, in the newly poured concrete steps that they just finished. I thought that was so amazing!! So I did. It was nothing to him, but so much to me. He will be missed !!
