Mrs Alberta Dareta Young, Miss Berta, Auntie Berta,Mama, Grandma, Great grandma, great great grandma. You are my rock, growing up as a child you take care of my every needs. As far as I can remember I used to be shipped away to you for the entire school holidays Easter, summer and Christmas. Sometimes I wonder how on earth you take care for so many people at the same time, love, affection, empathy. As a child I would sit and I would’ve watch the way you take care of the neighbours children you put those children before yours, you fed and clothes them. You would have strong words with the parents to take care of their children. My heart aches to know that I did not get the chance to hug and kiss you. Thank you for taking such great care of me when there was no mother no father or brothers or sisters. Auntie Bertha may your soul be at peace With our heavenlyI father, sleep on my beloved sleep and take your rest.
