Obituary of Monica Gray

Monica Gray passed away peacefully in her home the afternoon of Saturday May 8, 2021, surrounded with the love of her family and friends. Monica was born on December 25, 1939 Roxborough, Tobago.

A loving mother and homemaker, Monica was a remarkable cook and had a passion for baking and sewing.  She enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. She married Ulric in 1964 and the couple moved to Canada with their 4 children on December 17, 1977.

Monica was predeceased by her parents, and siblings,.  She is survived by her husband Ulric and four children (Rothaford, Sorna, Susie and Sornelle). Daughter-in-Law Radka Gray, Son-in-Law Peter Ascento, grandchildren Thalia Trim, Zayd Shaw, Elijah Gray and Leonore Gray, many nieces and nephews and will be missed by numerous extended family members and friends.

Due to the pandemic restrictions, service will be for immediate family only.

PANDEMIC CAPACITY UPDATE: 

INDOOR CEREMONIES: 10 person maximum capacity permitted in the entire funeral home

CHAPEL CAPACITY: 10 person maximum

OUTDOOR CEREMONIES: 10 person maximum at the cemetery.

Please note: children and babies also account for numbers.

Staff will continuously be monitoring capacity numbers. Once we have reached capacity, guests will be asked to remain outside, as there is NO gathering in the funeral centre at anytime.
