Obituary of Judith Annmarie Williams

In Loving Memory of Judith Annmarie Williams

March 2, 1969 – May 24, 2026

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Judith Annmarie Williams, who departed this life on May 24, 2026. Born to the late Anthony Morang and Grace Pillai.

Born on March 2, 1969, at Mount Hope General Hospital in Trinidad and Tobago, Judith carried with her the warmth, strength, and vibrant spirit of her roots throughout her life. During her formative years in Trinidad, she attended Five Rivers Hindu Primary School, Mount Hope Junior Secondary School, and El Dorado Senior Comprehensive School. In 1988, she immigrated to Canada, where she built a beautiful life centered around faith, family, and love.

Judith was a deeply spiritual woman whose understanding of God was personal and meaningful to her. She believed in a divine presence that guided her life and gave her strength, peace, and purpose in all that she did.

Judith was a devoted wife who shared 37 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Derrick Williams. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with love and raised two children, Samuel Williams and Abigail March, who were the pride of her life, and she was also a loving mother-in-law to Dwayne March and Giselle Chatrie. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Kai Derrick Edward Williams, Nya Judith March, Zariah Tilliana March, and Kah'Tye Reid, whose lives were brightened by her love and guidance.

Judith is lovingly remembered by her siblings, David Morang, Velma Morang James, Randolph Morang, Michael Morang, Richard Morang, Angela Morang, and Joanne Maraldo, and was predeceased by her sister, Patrina Maraldo. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews: David Jr., Stacey, Daryl, Teneka, Anthony, Antoinette, Andre, Michael Jr., Lennard, Kerry-Ann, Zephrin, Petal, and Fabbi, as well as numerous extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Family was the center of Judith’s world. She treasured every opportunity to bring loved ones together, whether through family outings, celebrations, holidays, or simple moments spent enjoying each other’s company. As her children grew up and welcomed children of their own, Judith embraced her role as a grandmother with immense joy and unconditional love. She not only adored her grandchildren but also extended that same love, care, and nurturing spirit to others, treating many as if they were her own.

Those who knew Judith will remember her as a woman of remarkable kindness and quiet strength. She possessed a calm and gentle spirit that brought comfort to those around her. Humble, selfless, thoughtful, and compassionate, she was always willing to put the needs of others before her own. She had a gift for making people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for, often through the smallest acts of kindness that left lasting impressions.

Judith was known for her exceptional organization, attention to detail, and dedication in all that she did. She approached life with purpose and grace, taking pride in creating order, caring for her family, and ensuring that everything was done with love and excellence. Her wisdom, patience, and reliability made her someone family and friends could always depend on. These cherished qualities were instilled in her from an early age by her beloved stepmother, Lucy Mahadeosingh Morang, affectionately known as “Tanty,” whose guidance and example helped shape the remarkable woman Judith became. So deeply were these values woven into the fabric of her life that, even after her passing, her husband found himself carefully tending to the area around her hospital bed, ensuring it remained clean, neat, and orderly; a quiet and loving tribute to the standards she upheld and the care she showed in every aspect of her life. After dedicating many years as a full-time stay-at-home mother, it was fitting that she later found meaningful employment with Jones Healthcare Group, where she worked in filling and packaging specialized medication adherence, dispensing products for pharmacies and long-term care, a role that reflected her precision, care, and attention to detail.

She also found joy in music, especially gospel music that uplifted her spirit and reflected her faith. Among her favourites were songs by Yolanda Adams, whose messages of hope, perseverance, and trust in God resonated deeply with her. Whether listening to music, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying life’s everyday moments, Judith found beauty in the simple things and taught those around her to do the same.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, Judith’s legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched. Her love, kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to family will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

While we mourn her absence, we celebrate a life filled with purpose, compassion, and love. We find comfort in the memories she leaves behind and in knowing that her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Psalm 34:18
