Obituary of Theresa Ann Barrett

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa Ann Barrett, who departed this life on May 27, 2026, at the age of 43. Born on June 16, 1982, Theresa lived a life filled with love, strength, and vibrant spirit.

Theresa was a dedicated travel agent, whose passion for exploring the world reflected her adventurous and free-spirited nature. She truly embodied the heart of a traveler—always seeking new experiences and embracing life to the fullest.

She was a devoted and loving mother to her cherished daughter, Thalia Coote, who was the center of her world. Theresa is lovingly remembered by her mother, Alrica Barrett, and her siblings, Marvalyn Mullings, Mark Weakley, and Ashena Barrett.

She leaves behind her beloved niece, Sheray Weakley, and her dear nephews, Hilery Davis and Nathaniel Duhaney, all of whom she adored deeply. Theresa was more than an aunt—she was the best aunt, always present with love, guidance, and laughter.

To her many friends, Theresa was an awesome and loyal companion, a woman who created family wherever she went, surrounded by many “bonus” brothers and sisters who were blessed by her presence.

Known for her charismatic spirit, Theresa loved life wholeheartedly. She found joy in simple and beautiful things—good food, music, dancing, and being in the company of those she loved. She will be remembered as a gentle, kind, warm, strong, and resilient soul, whose light could brighten any room.

Though she is gone from our sight, she will never be gone from our hearts. Theresa’s love remains with us, and her spirit will continue to walk beside us every day—guiding, protecting, and watching over her beloved daughter and family.
