Obituary of Louis Augustus Armstrong

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louis Armstrong on May 23, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Gwendolyn and Lenford Armstrong, as well as his brother, Devon. He was the loving father to Charlene, Christine, and Cyanna, brother of Maurice and sister, Avril, and uncle to Shanice, Kiara, Zaria, Tyriq, Monique, Marcus, Josh and Gigi.

Louis will be remembered for his quiet strength, uncanny sense of humour, love of music and fishing and the ability to fix just about anything. He leaves behind many cherished memories that will be carried forward by those who knew him. A celebration of life will be held on June 11, 2026 at noon. At the request of the family, the casket will remain closed during visitation.
