The first time I met you, I remember you picked me up and threw me onto your mum's bed. You thought it was hilarious. At Denise's wedding you tried, and failed, to get me to sing. I just wish so many things right now but I pray, cuz, that you are at peace. You've taken your place at the family table

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Dwight.
My deepest condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. I am saying a special prayer for each of you.
Most importantly, I am grieving with Paula and his children. May God ease your pain with loving memories, and may God hold Dwight, and each of you, in the cup of his hand.
All of my love,
Susan Wright

I’m still in shock hearing this news. I just saw Dwight 3 weeks ago, smiling like always. He had such an infectious smile and a warmth that made people feel good around him. This one hurts. He will truly be missed. Rest peacefully, Dwight. Sending love and heartfelt condolences to his family and everyone grieving this loss.

My deepest sympathy to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Dwight and I have known each other for many years. He was filled with laughter and always gave me good advise. We always talked about the Lord and things happening in the work place, but mainly about God. I will miss his presence at work. Peace be upon him, my friend Dwight.

Dwight was one of my best friend for over 30 years and I will miss very much. Love you bro...This picture was taken in Grenada on one of our trips. Dwight loved Grenada and wanted to go back there after his second visit.

To the Beloved Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences. Upon hearing of Dwight’s passing brought deep sadness. Dwight and I met at Canada Post many years ago. It was always a pleasure being in his company and having meaningful conversations. We talked about silly things, but, most importantly, our conversations centred on God, going to church and business ideas.
At Christmas time I would look forward to presenting him with his bottle of sorrel and Christmas cake. He would encourage me by saying, Joan you need to start selling this.
I consider myself blessed to have known him and will truly miss him. May his memory be a blessing to all who had the privilege to have know this man of strength, boldness and wisdom.
I pray the God of all comfort and peace will surround you all during this time of mourning. Blessed are they who mourn; for they shall be comforted.”
May your soul rest in perfect peace my dear friend. You will not be forgotten.
Joan

Dwight and I met at the post office about 15 years ago and the first thing I remember was his thundering voice across the depot. You could always know he was coming. Along with the voice came the jokes and the smiles...he had such a presence you could never forget. After work were the Costco runs and everytime we go in there, he would always stop at the watches. He wasn't buying any but he just liked to look. He said Citizens were quality watches. He always encouraged me to go to the gym when I had a bit of time. That's where we'd end up. He always supported my kids for their birthdays. He came into my home for events and was very much welcomed by my husband and family. I loved our friendship. He really felt like a big brother to me but at the same time my best buddy. I miss my bestie. May his soul rest in peace.
