My dear Uncle
I was your first little girl. I will always treasure our memories and you taking care of me. I’ll miss keeping you on your toes. I have no one to call the police on again (iykyk). Thank you for all the lessons you taught me. The care and love you gave me will never be forgotten. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. I miss you and love you so much. <3

It is with heavy hearts that we remember our coworker, friend, and local 787 union member, Lonnie. He was a dedicated tradesman. He was someone you could always count on — steady, hardworking, and kind. Lonnie left a lasting impression on our workplace and on all of us who knew him. He will not be forgotten. Lonnie’s presence will be truly missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working with him.

My dear Uncle Lonnie, I'm still trying to process losing you so soon and so unexpectedly. This life has taught us to cherish every moment, but if only we could have had few more.
I have thanked you many times
before, but now I must make a
final heartfelt gesture of gratitude for everything you have done for me, Mommy and Robert. Your quiet strength, selflessness and humour have touched our lives and helped Mommy through some tough times, and helped me and Robert to become the people we are today.
Although Canada had you for most of your life, you were Jamaican to the core, and never let any family or friends forget our roots and culture. Speaking of which, I'll have to try and recruit one of the boys to call me "Reds", but I think that's one nickname that will remain exclusive to you!
Mommy was the proudest big sister, and I know that she and Uncle Ansel were waiting at the airport to pick you up and guide you to your eternal home.
I love you Uncle Lonnie. Sleep well.
xo from Australia, Lois Anne, Rob and Amelie

My deepest condolences to the Spence family. You’re in my thoughts during this difficult time. Lonnie was a close friend since childhood. During our younger years, we used to go by the river, catch fish and cook it. That’s one of my memories of our early days. He has always been kind to me and I will never forget that. Rest in peace, my friend. You will be missed.

P.S. Here is a photo I took of Lonnie holding my daughter when he came to visit me in New York.
