Obituary of Noel Brown

Noel Augustus Brown affectionately known as Mass Noel passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 25th 2026 in Markham, Ontario, Canada at the age of 96. Born on November 1st, 1929 in the parish of Manchester, Jamaica. Noel was the beloved Son of Daisy Walker and Calvin Brown. He was raised in a family rooted in hard work, perseverance, and deep love.

In his late years Noel faced the challenges of Parkinson's disease. However, with a big heart and gentle nature, he remained positive and strong. Evident and witnessed daily by those who knew and loved him.

He is remembered by his children Ernel, Calvin, Colin, Alrick, Mark, Veronica, Pauline, Merlene, and Brenton. Also, his 30 Grandchildren and 37 Great Grandchildren. Noel is also fondly remembered by his siblings, Millicent, Calvin, Dorothy, James, and Marjorie. Also, lovingly remembered by his extended family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched through his generosity and willingness to assist those in need.

Noel is a man of wisdom who loved the Lord and will be remembered as a loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and a loyal Brother. Nonetheless, a hardworking man, a helping hand to those who cross his path, and a gentle soul. He also had a deep love for a game of 'double-six' dominoes, food, family, music, and life's simple pleasures. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
