Meritta Forde, age 76, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on January 14, 2026.
A woman of remarkable warmth and grace, she was the heart of her family. Whether she was sharing a secret recipe, offering wise advice, or cheering the loudest. She made everyone feel like the most important person in the room. She was best known for her legendary cooking and baking, as well as her ability to find beauty in the simplest things.
She is survived by her children, Orphia Brown and Mark Brown; her Grandchildren, family, and friends who will forever cherish memories of Sunday dinners/holiday traditions. She joins her Predeceased Parents in eternal rest.
