The Lowhar family is sending our deepest condolences to the Grannum family on the loss of “Mums.” Mums was an amazing caregiver to so many families and friends. I have known the family for over 30years and have always been welcomed and treated as part of the family. Mums will be deeply missed however her legacy of caring and kindness will live on.

My family and I send our condolences to all family membera and friends of Joyce Grannum. We miss you dearly. Nothing or no one could take your place. You are irreplaceable. You were one of a kind. We met when I moved to Keele & Lawrence, after my wedding (in 1978) on the same floor a few doors apart. You and your family greeted me with love and kindness. Visiting each other. You helped me with the arrival of my baby a year later. Every morning you and your younger son Georgie who was only 2 at the time, would come to see how the baby and I were doing. You also helped to look after my baby for me. We were like sisters. We shared a very unique bond that i will always treasure. Joyce and her family moved to Jane & Finch. We followed shortly after. Joyce moved to Martha Eaton Way, she called me and again, we followed shortly after. We were always together. After 20 years at Martha, Joyce moved to Mississauga and I to Brampton. Joyce was at my husband's funeral in 2023. We spoke and hugged each other after years of not seeing or hearing from each other. The last time I saw Joyce was at the Hospital a week before she passed. I would like to end by thanking God for the small mercies he has given my family and I at this dreadful time. I am so proud to have called you my dearest friend. Although you are gone in body, you will always be around us in spirit. Thank you for the wonderful times we had together and the memories we've shared. May your soul Rest in Peace. There are no words when hearing about the loss of a loved one, a matriarch that means so much. We have so many memories of Ms, Joyce, amazing dinners, good good food, lots of laughs, some of the best times of our lives include times at Ms Joyce apartment with the family,.. And The birthday parties in the party room... Some of the very enjoyable times that we hold dear, are honoured to have been able to share with Ms Joyce and will never ever forget. Her kind eyes and smile are forever etched in our memory, We will always love her, forever in our hearts, The Dixon family. Bro&Sis Dixon, Wayne, Tania, Tammy. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
